Republicans have already started to campaign against Hillary Clinton although all amounts to mere speculation that she will be the inevitable Democratic Presidential Candidate for the 2016 elections….

Can we not see the fear in their eyes, the panic in their utterances and the disingenuous, deceitful analysis/treatment of the Benghazi attack? The GOP conspiracy theorists and their ‘hangers-on” in the likes of Fox News, Rush
Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al keep on being those “best players” who are nothing but hot-headed spectators at a game who always sit in the stands criticizing the actual players who are sweating it out on the field giving the game their all to make a win. 

These sideliners are espousing what they think the military should have done although the military explain why they made the decisions they did. These men (and women) are nothing but educated dunces choked up with greed who keep thinking they can play the game better than the experts in the military as is the case with spectators sitting in the stands. They need to answer to themselves firstly what could be the motive of the military not to respond forcefully. Do they think it was cowardice on the part of the military, a characteristic which is the embodiment of each and every one of these pundits since almost none of them can say they had served the county in any of the Armed Forces. 

Only a fool never learns and those on the GOP bandwagon are such fools. As Andy Williams sang “A fool never learns to get away, just run away before his heart begins to break. A  fool never learns”. 

For Obama’s first term- four long years they have tried to sink his presidency and failed miserably and embarrassingly so at the 2012 polls when the very audience they were trying to convince voted against their stupidity. Instead of working to make America progress, they keep pummeling the Administration’s second term with these injudicious claims, calling for impeachment. When you think they have given up and found the folly of their ways they begin to go after future Democratic Administrations - to Hillary Clinton’s Administration which is only a figment of the imagination at this point. Although I must admit there is no illusion in this thinking if Hillary does decide to take up the mantle, and if
she does, they have a right to be scared sh*tless!!! 

REPUBLICANS - REALLY!!!
School children around the globe (and if there are school children in Mars they too) can see through the GOP’s transparent efforts which they put forward as being responsible. It is obvious that all these head-spinning inquiries and indictments and conspiracy theories amount to, and are nothing but cheap dirty politics.  


GOP has decided that if they cannot render President Obama impeachable, then they will endeavor to emaciate his legacy by starving his administration of any passage of meaningful bills that would bring the country to recovery from the recession and to success. Since 2011 when the GOP took over the control of the House, Congress has earned the trophy for being the most unproductive since 1947. Republicans are known to vote against bills that they themselves put forward. Isn’t this just plain playing dolly house with the lives of Americans who are paying their salaries, providing the best health insurance for them and their offspring while ensuring a gravy-train of a retirement package for each and every one of these non-performers?

The Hillary Scare
There is a Jamaican proverb that says “If yu kyaan ketch Quaqu yu ketch ‘im shut” – meaning if you cannot get the guy you are chasing to cause him harm, then be satisfied with holding on to his shirt. Hold on to emblems of who he is or what he stands for. To really appreciate the translation you have to paint a mental picture. Picture a boy/man named
Quaqu or Barak being chased by an enemy namely the Republicans. In flight Quaqu’s shirt is out of his pants and his chaser can only hold on to his shirt which Quaqu promptly sheds and his pursuer then is left with only his shirt in hand. The pursuer can only be, and is willing to be satisfied with his shirt. So it is with President Obama (Quaqu) and Secretary Clinton (Quaqu’s shirt).  If they cannot get President Obama who in the midst of all their smear campaign and demolition derby his job ratings and popularity remain firm…. then let’s get his shirt (Hillary).

From minute one, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on CNN looking his crystal ball sees an opportunity to cast aspersions – mark you without any facts to back up his utterances but certainly high hopes of bringing down a Hillary Clinton Administration before it even emerges out of the illusion stage.  Paul said the Benghazi issue disqualifies her (Hillary) from ever again holding higher office! Oooops! This is unquestionably the early manifestation of fear of the Teflon Lady who has proven over her political and public life that scandals and accusations do not stick because in all precious instances as it is with this, the truth prevails and these have only served to strengthen her.

It has been the better part of eight months that these conspiracy theorists have been trying to stick Benghazi “cover-up” to this administration and they are fools, they cannot and will never learn that trumped-up accusations, twisted logics, repetitive inaccurate reporting of their evil schemes have never in the past worked, is not working and will never work! I repeat what my grand-mother and mother rivet in my head “good always overcomes evil”. 

I have over my life proven this to be true but when you are infested by bile, vitriol, anger and sourness as the Republicans are at the effrontery of a black man to be president of the country that they “must take back” then you are blind. And I refer this as a case that fits plumb with the saying that Matthew Henry’s (1662-1714) an English Presbyterian minister and writer polarized “There is none so blind as those that will not see.” Does America really want or need these blind Republicans – a party which is not just divided, it is not just broken but it is a party that is splintered, to be in charge? 

“What is good for the goose should be good for the gander” has been the diktat of honest and fair-minded human beings.  When all the multiple attacks around the world were happening under George Bush these very same haters remained quiet, mum so as not as they claimed then, to “undermine the commander-in-chief while troops are in harm’s
way”. Is the commander-in-chief of present day not deserving of their respect and if not, why so? Are they not now concerned about the troops being put in “harm’s way” now as they did during the Bush Administration? What is the difference? The truth to be told is that they really do not care about the troops. Their utterances of concern for the
troops are nothing but lip service, because most of them have never served their country in the ‘battle field” defending their country and have never given up or encouraged their loved-ones to serve - the troops are nothing but pawns to be used as they see fit to  embellish their political ambitions.

Let us take a brief look at the George Bush’s and the Republican Administration’s Benghazi equivalent. Excerpt from

October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of
“Bali Bombings.”  No fatalities.

February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. 2 killed.

May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al-Qaida terrorists storm the diplomatic compound. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb. 36 killed including 9 Americans

July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy 2 killed.

December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al-Qaida terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. 9 killed.

March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan A REPEAT ATTACK. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate. 4 killed, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. This was the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what’s considered American soil.

I join Mr. Cesca in asking if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name “David Foy.”

September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar” storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. 4 killed, 13 wounded.

January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a
rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities – attack none-the-less. Did Republicans question security at this facility?

March 18, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaida-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school. 2 killed.

July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. 6 killed.

September 17, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. 16 killed, including an American student and her 
husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). The second attack on this embassy
in seven months.

In the witch hunt the ‘hunters’ so far over the eight months have been unable to unearth the witch of “Cover-up” or the witch of “Scandal” but they refuse to give up and go do the job they are being paid to do!!! This is the group who are advocating “Pay for Performance” for teachers who are provided with little or nothing in the form of supplies, salary, health insurance and the likes. Would they apply the very same evaluation criteria to  themselves? Because if they dare to do, I know even the least performing teacher who has not been provided with the tools to perform would fare much better than this bunch. Republican members of Congress would all be (and should be, and must be) fired.    
      
Should Hillary decide to go for the presidency in 2016 and I sincerely hope she does, I dedicate Bob Marley’s song “Bad Card” to her efforts and to her opponents – the Republican Party, the Tea Party, the Mad-Hatter Party, the

And so it is with the millions of middleclass Americans. Republicans and their minions (or rather their bosses) the Tea Party continue relentlessly trying to make President Obama a one-term president although his first term is over! This twisted logic from a group of people who are so full of hate, envy and bigotry a group totally devoid of conscience is a big joke! Yes - a joke to the rest of the world but in the meantime, the American people are undergoing untold suffering and the country’s economy, global reputation and stature are going down the toilet. 

The Immoral Majority (the GOP) is incapable of learning that their evil doings will not, and have not so far, and will never overcome good.  That is the law dictated by the universe but they keep on keeping on with their barefaced lies, their attempts at twisting truths, their constant call for repeal - their attempts at undermining and besmearing President Obama’s legacy. 

Consider this: the House calling for repealing the Affordable Care Act for the 37th time although they know full well it will never make it through the Senate, and although the Supreme Court of the land upheld the Act June of 2012. They know full well it is a waste of time – the American people’s time, and Mr. Putty himself John Boehner acknowledges the effort as cathartic. Boehner and Eric Cantor continue to play politics with the lives of the 98% using this repeal vote for the only reason to wake up their members’ hostility for the law and draw attention to the Democrats’ support of it putting it on record for the 2014 elections. All these people have done since this president took office is play politics with people’s lives while they and their family and friends sit in cushy and ultra-comfortable lifestyles courtesy of the taxpayer! 

Then there is the constant call for impeachment. Every shadow created by their twisted and hateful minds is a reason for them to call for impeaching the President. They persistently and insistently go on mining expeditions to unearth dirt on him and repeatedly fail. Nothing sticks and it frustrates them to the nasty core of their souls (that is if they have souls?). One of the party’s last bastion of truth and honesty, the respected stalwart in the GOP, Senator John McCain, has openly said that under no circumstance will he support any move to impeach Barack Obama. The latest
threat is in response to the Benghazi attack that killed 4 Americans in Libya. House Republicans, and some in the U.S. Senate, continue to belabor the point that the Obama Administration is covering up something sinister regarding the
handling of the attack. It is like beating a dead horse.

They claim that it is a cover-up worse than the Watergate Scandal which
eventually toppled Richard Nixon from the Presidency in 1974. How
laughable and sad is the GOP right now? Many find them pathetic and, as they run America further into the ground with their scare tactics and blocking of important legislations to move America forward, they must pay a heavy price at the polls come November 2014.

Every Republican president, since Dwight D. Eisenhower, must be turning in their graves to see the degenerate party the GOP has become. They are now the laughing-stock of America and the entire world.

All the aforementioned reasons failed horribly and blew up AND WILL BLOW UP in their faces as no sensible individual will take their
latest threats seriously. It is painfully obvious that the Republicans have not sat and thought of any viable solutions to
America’s economic or social
problems. Instead of duking it out over ideas and policies, they are acting like spoiled, rich, bratty kids who throw temper tantrums. The country is theirs and they must take it back – remember that utterance, embedded in which is pure, unadulterated bigotry.

And they remain in that “taking back” mode and will continue to the end of this president’s "second first term." (For they haven't given up trying to make President Obama a one-term president). I never knew that I would come to this but the devil (Republicans) made me do it - to quote Sarah Palin: “How’s that workin’ out for ya?!”

The American people will not stand for the waste of taxpayers’ money in an impeachment trial. They did it with Bill Clinton but, will not get away with it with Barack Obama. 

To put it bluntly, America is sick of the bull sh*t the right keeps dumping on the country!

In the blink of an eye, November 2014 will be upon us. What are you going to do America? Give Republicans a
majority or sweep them out of office? Have Democrats earned your trust? What can they do to earn that trust? Aren’t you tired? I know that I am!  

I deserve better…You deserve better…America deserves better! Don’t you think?

The time for talking is long over. Get politically mobilized from now and not wait until the appointed time. Come hell or high water, we will be ready to sweep the GOP, and by extension, all Tea Party types out of Congress. Switch off
Honey Boo-Boo and all those stupid “reality” shows and get going. When the dust settles and things remain the same (or, God forbid, get worse, if the GOP gets an even bigger majority in 2014) we have nobody to blame but ourselves. If we don’t act to get them in the minority, we have no right to bitch and complain when the crap hits the fan and everything gets totally ruined – becomes irreversible sludge, sewage and chaos. Don’t wait until it starts affecting you
directly before you decide to act to correct the havoc.

Some attention-seeking idiots are touting Ted Cruz for President like they are doing for Marco
Rubio.

The transparent intention is to get the Latino votes while
at the same time please the Tea Party – two total impossibilities.  .  Cruz… Rubio… these are names with a Hispanic flavor and flavor only. And the smell (flavor) might be the only thing going for them and I am not so sure if anything is in fact going? The dunderheads who are putting forward these names think Hispanics (the voting block the GOP needs to bring into the party) are so shallow that they will run in droves to the polls to vote for the Republican Party because their cousin Jose, and Uncle Diego and grandpa Pablo have the names Cruz and Rubio?

NEWS FLASH!!! Hispanics are just as smart as, and in some cases much smarter than these people who are making those utterances when they are weighing the pros and cons of where to put their votes. For one, they are not blinded by ideology… they think, they reason, they weigh and prioritize issue and then they vote. Vote for the party that exhibits sense and good judgment on issues that affect the country which they live in and are an integral part of.

But before I speak any further on “Cruz for   the Latino vote”, I want to bring attention to an article published in
today’s issue (May 1, 2013) of “The Atlantic” written by David A. Graham, entitled “Yes, Ted Cruz Can Be Born in Canada and Still Become President of the U.S.” It goes on to state: “The Calgary-born Texas senator is considering a bid for the Oval Office. Let's nip those birther questions in the bud right now.”  

Holy sh*t! Are my ears and eyes serving me correctly?  

Graham’s article goes on to say: “But what won't prevent Cruz from becoming president is his place of birth. Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada, while his parents were living there. His father is now an American citizen, but was not at the time; his mother, however, was born in the United States …….

In short, the Constitution says that the president must be a natural-born citizen. "The weight of scholarly legal and historical opinion appears to support the notion that 'natural born Citizen' means one who is entitled under the
Constitution or laws of the United States to U.S. citizenship 'at birth' or 'by birth,' including any child born 'in' the United States, the children of United States citizens born abroad, and those born abroad of one citizen parents who has met U.S. residency requirements," the CRS's Jack Maskell wrote. So in short: Cruz is a citizen; Cruz is not naturalized; therefore Cruz is a natural-born citizen, and in any case his mother is a citizen.”

On immigration Reform:
1. Yet another Cuban-American who doesn’t understand 
     because he does not hurt like other Hispanics since 
     he and his countrymen continue to benefit from 
     the generous and humane “Cuban amnesty”.

2. Cruz, by having a hard-nosed focus on border security 
    at the expense of all other components of the 
    proposed bill is hurting millions of undocumented 
    persons even in his own state of Texas

3. He is opposed to earned path to citizenship because it 
    is “tantamount to amnesty” and as he said to Sean 
    Hannity on Fox News "I think that is profoundly unfair 
    to the millions of legal immigrants who have followed 
    the rules, who have waited in line." Mr. Cruz sir, when 
    Cubans land in the United States and are given 
    permanent status after one year of their arrival, that sir 
    amounts to your people jumping the line in front of 
    millions of other applicants.

If it is that Cruz is posturing to create that presidential buzz” which I think he is, and to propel himself into the limelight, he will realize that the electorate is neither dumb nor deaf and not only will he not be president but he will assuredly fade into obscurity after he becomes a one-term senator. If he gets on board with immigration later on, his support will be viewed as insincere and self-serving. It will not help him or his party.

On Education: Quality education is another matter top on the list of issues for Latinos, a large percentage of whom lives in grossly underserved areas with underfunded schools. The access to quality education is rendered even more hopeless with state budgets for education being down-sized!

Latinos are mostly liberal in their views on issues and do not support bigger tax breaks for big business and for the top 2%, and they favor marriage equality by about 55%. Republicans it is clear consider Latinos only as a voting block and not as human beings who need human consideration.  The list of differences in thinking of this “voting block” compared to the values of the extremists in the Tea Party and Ted Cruz goes on and on.
